Mr. Jitendhra Khatwani, Honarary Consul of Chile, South America and CEO of Multi Cultural Institute, visited Vels University campus at Pallavaram recently towards roping in Vels University for providing high quality education in advanced IT courses in Chile.
Impressed with the Infrastructure, Qualified faculty members and Excellent academic atmosphere of the university, the consul signed an MoU to the benefit of students in South America with regard to pursuing Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor’s programmes in Information Technology.
The pact was signed between Multi Cultural Institute, Santiago, Chile and Vels University, Chennai. Apart from providing education, the understanding will target at exploring other avenues for cooperation in higher education in Chile that includes cultural exchange, faculty exchange and students exchange programmes, research, designing syllabus, teaching aids and innovative methodologies, advanced technology, smart classrooms, conducting examinations, certifications and more.
The consul also expressed desire to promote foot ball game in association with Vels University as the chancellor Dr. Ishari K Ganesh himself is a sportsman and heads various sports organizations.
