Tigerair, the leading Singapore-based budget carrier, today announced the expansion of its service between Chennai and Singapore. The airline has added two additional weekly flights on this route that will ensure more convenience for travellers from and to the city. This move is part of Tigerair's commitment to the meet the ever increasing demand from travellers and India’s growth strategy of strengthening the existing network.
Tigerair currently operates 7 weekly flights between Chennai and Singapore. Beginning 4th December 2014, Tigerair will operate two additional weekly flights between Chennai and Singapore.
The first additional fight will depart Singapore on Thursday at 23.00 hours local time and arrive into Chennai on Friday at 01.15 hours local time. While the second flight will depart Singapore on Saturday at 07.40 hours and arrive in Chennai at 09.15 hours. Commenting on the increase in frequency, Mr. Robert Yang, Commercial Director, Tigerair said, “It has been our constant endeavour to provide convenience to our passengers.
