Monsoon Salon & Spa Collaborated with Vidya Tikari to Make Makeup Affordable for All

The beauty and wellness industry is booming in India, thanks to the growing desire among both men and women to look stylish and feel good. Indeed, a KPMG report projected that the size of India's beauty and wellness market would nearly double to Rs 80,370 crore by 2017/18 from Rs 41,224 crore in 2012/13. Of this, industry experts say makeup alone would account for over 40% of the market size, relying heavily on the ‘big fat’ bridal makeup. 

Making a mark for itself, Monsoon Salon & Spa started organised salon chains to make this industry affordable for everyone and relieve it of the ‘only for the rich’ tag. Now they have collaborated with Vidya Tikari, one of the most-sought-after makeup artists in India.
