Alfa Laval India Strengthens Ties with Pharma Segment
Showcases its leading technology during Customer Seminars in Mumbai and Bengaluru

Alfa Laval India as part of their initiative to strengthen ties with its pharma market segment, organized two Seminars, one each at Mumbai and Bangalore in December 2013. Approximately 90 existing and potential customers, distributors and integrators in the western and southern zone of India participated in the event. The objective of the seminars was to interact with the stakeholders and update them about the benefits of Alfa Laval offering in the pharmaceutical & biotechnology sector
 
Mr. Per Åke Ohlsson –Sanitary Equipment Asia Manager and Global Market Unit Manager, Pharma and Personal Care gave presentations on the industry topics ”Efficient water systems : A risk based approach on how to secure safe and cost efficient water systems including commissioning, qualification, validation, operation and maintenance”   and  “Increased biotech yield : Critical aspects in component selection and bioreactor process design for increased yield and optimized output.
 
Mr. Ohlsson also gave an overview of the pharma and biotech industry and talked about Alfa Laval’s competitive product offerings such as the Alfa Laval LKH 10 -pump, LKH UltraPure 20 pump, tee, union and bends, butterfly valves, NRV valves, ASME BPE fittings, SWG tubes, Unique Diaphragm Valve,  Premium UltraPure, Magnetic Mixer, Sanimidget cleaning head.
