PVR Hosts 1000 Children from NGO’s for a Special Movie Screening of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, August 08, 2013 — (Business Wire India) — PVR Ltd., the largest and premium film entertainment company in the country, through its social program and registered foundation PVR Nest screened the biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ based on the legendary athlete Milkha Singh to around 1,000 children.

Under its flagship program ‘Films for Change’, PVR Nest conducts special screenings encouraging students community to watch inspiring films beyond the cinema’s commercial screening hours.

It was a fun filled morning at the PVR Priya Cinema that was echoing with the applause, laughter and noise of excited children from over 50 aided schools and non- governmental organizations like Jamghat, Salaam Balak Trust, Fortis Foundation, Magic Bus, Katha, CanKids and from PVR Nest’s programs came together for this screening.

They cheered and applauded the Flying Sikh throughout the film which is a thrilling; inspiring and highly motivating account of how the living legend ran against all odds for his country and love of sports.

The company hopes to instill the values of patriotism, hard work and the spirit of sportsmanship amongst all genres of children by playing a small part in enabling children from difficult life circumstances to be able to come to the cinemas and watch such films which will instill positive values amongst this audience.
