New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, March 09, 2011 — (Business Wire India) — Shell Lubricants, the global market share leader in finished lubricants (Kline & Company), has revamped its Shell LubeAnalyst oil analysis program, which is designed to help customers improve equipment and vehicle reliability and reduce maintenance costs. LUBE ANALYST is an Oil and Equipment Condition Monitoring Oil Analysis (OCM/ECM based Oil Analysis) system, it is a program engineered to provide an online user interface that offers a worldwide sample history and failure trends on various types of equipment and engines

The Shell LubeAnalyst provides an integrated web-based solution to allow customers to register their equipments, track samples, view reports and trends online. Used-oil reports, provided through the Shell LubeAnalyst program can reveal whether contaminants such as water, coolant, fuel or dirt are getting into the oil, indicating head-gasket leaks, leaking fuel injectors or other problems.

With the system being oaccessible online, LubeAnalyst program is one of the most effective methods to avoid equipment damage and extend the life of your lubricant. It is an integrated system to cater to the end-to-end Oil Condition Monitoring Service enabling easy and quick access to sample test data to the diverse set of users.”

The LubeAnalyst sample kits are specifically designed to meet the needs of specific operations. Every sample is subjected to a comprehensive set of required tests that vary according to the equipment and applications. Careful analysis of these samples by Shell field based technical staff yields information and recommendations to help you effectively schedule preventative maintenance and can also allow to:
